Security

How we protect your files during upload, conversion, and download — and what we deliberately do not do with them.

Our Security Principles

Privacy by Design

We collect only what is needed to convert your file and delete it promptly.

HTTPS

All uploads, downloads, and page loads are encrypted in transit with TLS.

Automatic Deletion

Files are removed after a short retention window — not archived or indexed.

No AI Training

Uploaded files are never used to train machine learning or AI models.

Minimal Data Collection

No accounts required. No profiling based on what you convert.

Isolated processing

Conversions run on dedicated infrastructure with restricted access.

No account required

Fewer credentials means fewer attack surfaces for end users.

Minimal retention

We keep files only as long as needed to complete your conversion.

Encryption in transit

Every page load, file upload, and download uses HTTPS. This prevents third parties on the network path from reading your file contents or session data in plain text.

File handling

When you upload a file, it is stored temporarily on secure servers solely to perform the conversion you requested. Access is limited to automated processing systems.

We do not:

  • Use file contents for advertising or profiling
  • Share uploads with third parties for their own purposes
  • Train AI or machine learning models on your files
  • Retain files beyond the documented deletion period

Infrastructure

Our hosting providers maintain industry-standard physical and network security controls. We review providers for reliability and data handling practices before engaging them.

Reporting vulnerabilities

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to support@converty.us. Include enough detail for us to reproduce the issue. We aim to acknowledge reports within 48 hours.

For retention timelines, see the File Deletion Policy. For data rights, see our Privacy Policy.
